Hey there - I have a web server question, to bring to the group that I need help with. Basic how-to's with an older Apache server, need to modify some pages and not sure how to do it safely.

i thought that it was ok, but i must say messing with a computer trying to figure out why it wouldn't boot linux was a total waste of my time. that is something that you can do at home and NOT at a linux user group, esp bc of time restraints. this group is for total newbs, if you have no experience with linux and/or computers in general and you are too lazy to look up the information online and actually do some reading then this is the place for you. mr tate seems to be somewhat knowledgeable, however i don't think that i really need someones help installing linux. once again, USE THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!!! (frustrating) this linux user group has potential, only however if they delve into more intermediate material. otherwise i don't see this group groing anywhere at all.
